Under the central courtyard of The Louvre lies hidden the ancient keep of Philippe's castle. Before he went on Crusade, he started a massive wall enclosing 250 hectares for the defence of The city of Paris.

Small diversion to the Dali Museum in Montmartre.

This bronze of a female torso, with an egg balanced on the lower half has little bronze insects crawling over it.

Dali was brilliant as an artist and self-publicist, but one is drawn to the sad conclusion that he needed help!
