The morning after the night before. Fiesta! The only remnant of the angry protest of the previous evening is a smashed bank ATM and a scattering of police. The Guardia also provide the mounted band for the procession. Their horses are magnificent, as are the oxen, pulling the float carrying the Virgin Mary. One has the feeling that this pageant has changed little since medieval times.
